The founders of HVAS have six adopted children among us, including children adopted through state foster care adoption, as well as international adoption, private domestic adoption, and intra-family relative adoption. 

 

Laurie Slavin is a Fellow of the American Academy of Adoption Attorneys, with 25 years experience handling adoption related matters.

MISSION:  Our mission is to help people creating new family relationships through adoption.  The well-being of children is our priority.  We believe that every child deserves a permanent home in a nurturing environment, and that adoption is a lifelong process. 

 

GOALS: To provide adoption preparation and education, adoption home studies, adoption and parenting options counseling, adoption matching services,  post placement adoption reports, and adoption finalization.  We will support our clients throughout the adoption process.
